Treatment Team
Care is provided to our patients by a team of specialist in the treatment
of older adults. The members include psychiatrists, registered psychiatric
nurses, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, recreational
therapist, occupational therapists, and nurses aides.
- Inpatient
Program
Our inpatient program provides diagnostic evaluation, crisis stabilization
and intensive treatment, with the goal of continuing a patient's care
in a less-restrictive setting when clinically appropriate.
- Family
Involvement
We encourage families to become actively involved in their loved one's
healing process. Family and friends hold valuable information regarding
the patient's life experiences and preferences that is important to
share with members of the medical team. The family's support and participation
in a patient's therapy when appropriate, will help maximize the benefits
of psychiatric treatment.
